About CollectorRecovery.org

Collectors Helping Collectors

CollectorRecovery.org is a volunteer-run, community-driven organization with no formal corporate entity behind it — just collectors who believe the hobby deserves a dedicated recovery network.

Our Origin

Built in Response to a Crisis

In October 2026, one of the largest thefts in trading card history occurred when 6,451 PSA-graded items were stolen during FedEx transit. PSA published an official stolen inventory list. Law enforcement opened an investigation. And the collector community was left asking: where do we go from here?

CollectorRecovery.org was built to answer that question. A small group of collectors came together to create a centralized resource — a place to report stolen cards, submit tips, search the stolen inventory, and coordinate community intelligence in a way that no single platform was doing.

We are not affiliated with PSA, FedEx, or any law enforcement agency. We are not a business. We are collectors, acting in the interest of collectors.

Our Mission

Protect the Hobby

To make it harder to profit from stolen trading cards by maintaining a public registry, coordinating community intelligence, and connecting tip information with the people who need it most.

Maintain the Registry

We maintain a searchable database of stolen PSA-graded cards, starting with the 6,451 items from the October 2026 theft. Every cert number in our registry is a card that should not change hands without scrutiny.

Coordinate Community Intelligence

Collectors see things law enforcement doesn't. Our tip system channels community sightings, marketplace leads, and overheard information into a single pipeline that can actually move investigations forward.

Create Accountability

By making stolen card data publicly searchable, we raise the cost of reselling stolen inventory. Buyers who check before they buy protect themselves — and shrink the market for stolen cards.

How We Work

What CollectorRecovery.org Does

01

Aggregate Stolen Card Data

We import official stolen card lists (starting with the PSA October 2026 inventory) and community-reported thefts into a unified, searchable registry. Every record is tied to a PSA cert number.

02

Collect and Route Tips

Community members submit tips through our secure form — sightings, marketplace listings, leads, or any relevant intelligence. Tips are reviewed and routed to the appropriate contacts, including law enforcement when warranted.

03

Offer Rewards for Results

We offer independent rewards — up to $10,000 — for information that leads to the recovery of stolen cards or the arrest and conviction of those responsible. Anonymous tips are accepted and eligible.

04

Expand the Network

We are building partnerships with dealers, auction houses, and community platforms to make stolen card checks a standard part of every transaction in the hobby.

Our Values

What We Stand For

Community First

Every decision we make is in the interest of the collector community. We have no investors, no revenue motive, and no agenda beyond protecting the hobby.

Transparency

We are clear about what we are and what we are not. We are not law enforcement. We are not affiliated with PSA or FedEx. We are collectors acting in good faith.

Protecting Tipsters

Anonymous tips are not just accepted — they are actively encouraged. We never require identity to submit information, and we never publish tipster details.

Accuracy Over Speed

We only publish information we can verify. We do not speculate about suspects, publish unconfirmed case details, or amplify rumors. The registry is only as useful as it is trustworthy.

The Team

A Small, Dedicated Group

CollectorRecovery.org is run by a small team of volunteers from the trading card community. We keep names off the page by choice — this organization is bigger than any individual, and we want the focus to stay on the mission. If you want to reach us, email Tips@CollectorRecovery.org.

Report a Theft

If your cards were stolen, report them to us. We'll add them to the registry and make sure the community knows to watch for them.

Check Before You Buy

Before purchasing a PSA-graded card, search the cert number against our registry. It takes seconds and protects you from unknowingly buying stolen property.
